We are proud to be part of local projects to help our respective local communities, these projects also offer valuable life skills for our Participants and experience that can hopefully aid them in achieving what they would like to do next in life. Examples of these projects include - Colney Heath Recycling Project, Football Club Retail Skills, Grow Cheshunt Gardening Project, Charity Shops, Welwyn Garden City Boxing Club and plenty more. We are always looking for more ways to help our local community, so if you have any ideas, then please let us know.
We pride ourselves on being a service that doesn't simply 'maintain' our Participants, but one which appropriately challenges them to progress. We work with our Participants on 3 social targets, these can be amended and updated as often as required, these social targets can be formed by the Participant, their family/guardians and the support network around them. These social targets are then worked on by the Participant and our team of Group Leaders to enable social progression.
We want to ensure that everyone is aware of their rights and have access to the 2014 Care Act, you can click below to download it in PDF format.
Thank you.
